Competitive and Social Beach Volleyball at the Cairns Esplanade

Cairns Volleyball Association runs local and state-level tournaments between March and October.

Tournaments include pairs, threes, fours, and mixed formats and cater to all skill levels. Check out the event calendar for upcoming dates and how to nominate.

Social Play

The Cairns Esplanade courts are free to use all day so grab a ball and some friends and go for a swing whenever you like! The Cairns Regional Council and Volleyball Australia have recently added 3 more free courts (now a total of 6) which can be used with no charge until 9:30pm every night.

Training

If you want to develop your beach skills, head on down to the Cairns Esplanade Beach Courts every Tuesday from 5:30 – 6:30 for free clinic provide by Cairns Regional Council.
