2025 Wednesday: Mixed Social Season Term 4 - Team Nomination Information and registration

Terms and conditions

• BY LAWS - 2025 Term 4 Social Mixed Season: 6 A-Side

  a) 1 hour game slot.
  b) Must have at least 3 women on the court at all times and a woman must touch the ball during play at least once.
  c) Teams are permitted to play with 5 registered players for that team, but 3 women must be on the court at all times.
  d) All players need CVA ($20) and VQ (Recreational $35) memberships (exp 31/3/26).
  e) $60 game payment prior to playing at the hall is to be paid. This is paid at the hall kiosk electronically on the night.
  f) Players must also sign in at the kiosk prior to playing.
  g) Placings will be calculated on for/against % from team points over the season.
  h) 2 points per minute late start penalty.
  i) Competition manager decisions are final.
  j) Teams are required to do duty as per the draw. 1st referee, 2nd referee, scorer at least.
  k) Mixed social season is designed to bring players together and support them to compete on their way into a future of competitive volleyball, or provide a competitive/enjoyable level of volleyball for those that simply love the game. Please be respectful and enjoy the game!

  Warm up pepper begins: 6:15pm
  Right side hitting: 6:16pm
  Left side hitting: 6:18pm
  Serving: 6:19pm
  
  Set 1:
  First serve: 6:20pm
  Time out and drink break: 6:32pm
  First serve: 6:33pm
  Players start on the same side and position as prior to the time out.
  End of Set 1: 6:45pm
  
  Drink break and switch sides.
  
  Set 2:
  First serve: 6:49pm
  Time out and drink break: 7:01pm
  First serve: 7:02pm
  Players start on the same side and position as prior to the time out.
  Last serve 7:14pm
  End of Set 2: 7:15pm
